Removable Orthoappliance

OVERVIEW:

This is an appliance designed to be worn on the teeth to correct Crooked teeth. Removable means it can be worn or removed at patient’s will.

However, it is used for correcting simple and uncomplicated malocclusion in children. The outcome of the treatment with a removable appliance is strongly dependent on the compliance of the patient. It has the advantage of not interfering with the patient’s feeding as it can be removed during feeding.
